Resolved Question: scared of surgery and bringing back rape memorys?

i am going in for surgery on my ear tomorrow to remove a chlostomea and have a radical wall down. i'm scared so scared i have been crying all day. i'm am afraid of people to see my body not clothed. i was raped and sexually assulted when i was younger and i am afraid of people i don't know seeing me in less clothes. my doctor is a male who doesn't seem to understanding. i tried talking to the pre- op nurse about it and she said that they will have me in a gown (shaking at the thought of it) and will give me a robe till time of surgery with a blanket. i asked if i could at least leave my underwear on she said no because of the need to insert a cathetar in me. when i said that they have no right to touch anywhere below my kneck without my consent when i'm out she simply told me that they can do whatever they want if it's medically needed and given that the surgery is 4-5 hours long they have to. i can't have anything to eat or drink after midnight tonight so why the heck would there be a need to be at my surgery time at 11 am. then i explained to her i have an issue with my bladder- its small and has a tiny hole that bleeds so i always have blood and tons of uti's from it. she said they didn't care and still had to do it. i'm so scared and basically shaking at the thought of being in a room with a gown that has no privacy with nothing but men and some woman i don't know. is there a way to get over this in time. everyone i knows has told me to suck it up, shut up and just give up on the control. but i feel it's my body and i need to protect it the only way i know how. please help. it's also bringing alot of memorys of the rape and sexual assult all over again and i had bad time dealing with it to begin with it i self mutliated and became this major control freak do to that. and now all them feeling are coming back and nobody understands. is this normal or am a freak. i am already severly hard of hearing in both ears. i wear behind the ear hearing aids. the doctor already told me i could come out deaf.i have had seven of these done but before all that happened. i know that u lose more hearing with everyone of the surgerys and right now i don't have much left. i don't want that and nobody seems to understand that my hearing is so important to me. but all the doctor keeps saying is that my hearing isn't a big thing to worry about as the other risks. i told them i don't care if i am paralized or can't see or anything just leave my hearing. it's the only way to communicate with anyone around me. i come from a hearing a family. i'm the only one with deafness and my freinds already told me that if i'm deaf they won't learn to sign for me.  more

Voting Question: I have a chest wall deformity and wondered about a breast augmentation.?

I REALLY want to have breast implants. I am currently a 32-34 A. I say that because I have a protruding rib cage where it meets my sternum, and only on one side. It's not bad, but enough to cause a difference in bra size between my two breasts. There is no actual size difference (visually) but my clothing never fits the same on both sides. Usually my shirts will twist to one side or the other due to uneven pulling thanks to my anatomy. My bras only ever fit one side (generally the larger... common sense). I've tried stuffing the other side, but this is cumbersome. I've done a lot of research and have decided that I want saline implants at about 375 cc (about a C cup). I know that plastic surgeons can reconstruct breasts after radical mastectomies. I also know that there are complications with those. I was wondering if anyone knew if there would be positioning problems with the implants (would they look even?). I also have a limited budget. This is a planned graduation present to myself for making it through college. "I hope I have given enough information for a clear picture of what I want and my dilemma. Any knowledge is GREATLY appreciated!!!  more

Resolved Question: This is more of a hypothetical question?

I don't understand why so many people say they're "scared" of what will happen if Obama gets elected. Don't you people understand that's why there's the Supreme Court and Senate? Some people are saying they're torn between McCain and Obama, but feel McCain is "safer". I've heard people say they're afraid Obama has ties to this and that. I've heard people say they're worried he's going to let blacks take over. What you need to realize is that if ANY president tried to do anything unconstitutional, he would be impeached very easily. There's no reason to worry about such ridiculous things like him being a sheep in wolfs clothing. He wouldn't be able to DO anything radical like people are saying. Bush is an exception because he blames all of our rights being taken away on the war. He needs to monitor phone calls because he needs to search for terrorists. So he claims.  more

Voting Question: Did Obama really say "There has been genocide against Palestinians by Isrealis??"?

He does admit to having a two state solution however it is a bit troubling between what he says (more populist view) and what he "allegedly" says at a dinner for University of Chicago very pro palestinian professor Khalid Rashidi (a colleague of Obama when he was a law professor at same school): ALLEGEDLY: He congratulates Khalidi for his work saying "Israel has no God-given right to occupy Palestine" plus there's been "genocide against the Palestinian people by Israelis." It would be really controversial if it got out. That's why they (LA Times) will not even let a transcript get out. We know that the truth/video will eventually get leaked. Would this make pro Obama supporters think twice and consider that Obama may not be what he says he is? Would they realize that even though he has a great public persona that he might very well be a wolf in sheep's clothing getting into the most powerful office in the world to push his near radical views with a liberal congress to be in concert with his ideas?? With so many question marks into Obama's real stances on controversial subject how is it that half of America has bought into the idea that he would be a good President?? I think that with all of the "Present" votes that he has cast in the Senate...it is hard to really know what he will do.  more

Resolved Question: So am I really a very immature idiot? 10 point for most logical/ honest answer?

So am I really a very immature idiot? 10 point for most logical/ honest answer? so today i got into a fight and ended up being called an immature idiot for saying several things: 1) i don't care and can't stand the human race anymore. people are not "nice" and "kind", never have been. They are nice only until they want something or until you get in their way. People who put their faith in the human race...where have they gotten? well let's look at Ghandi (murdered), "hypothetically" Jesus (murdered), Nelson Mandela (called terrorist and jailed), journalists who fight for truth (murdered),.... i could go on 2) I cannot trust people anymore either, because truthfully, the MAJORITY (not all) lie, are morons, let themselves be blindly led by their "saviours" (be it "chosen" religious leaders, political leaders, radicals who don't think things through, cars, money, technology...) 3) starvation, aids/orphans/ money for charity....i cannot even afford to live for myself, why am I am guilted into giving money? there will ALWAYS be sick, starving and poor people. why? because happy, smart and healthy people don't make you money. also, if you think about it, sure you can change one person's life, or make one person happy, realistically though, what are the chances that they will do the same for you??? really think about it. don't get me wrong though, if i am walking down the street and i see someone is real need i always spare some money or whatever food i have or will help someone if they are in danger.... 4)i have a short lifespan, why should I not spend most of it making myself happy? because this is selfish? because me spending my time say.,. reading books, painting, dancing, making/ listening to music, going to see places is not what i'm supposed to be doing but working 3 jobs, getting into debt, developing stress problems and also heart diseases and mental issues. because i would rather in the short time i have, have a little enjoyment? 5) working for myself (growing my own garden, "making" my own clothes, writing, and such), is unpopular because the only thing you will be able to show for it is unhappiness and deep deep spiritual happiness and peace. unhappiness because you realize how stupid and evil people really are and you feel detached and happiness because you are smarter than everyone else and know that this will all come to an end. 6) if we all spent time getting "in touch" with ourselves, we would realize we do not owe anybody anything or should have to apologize for being who we are 7) how i don't care about saving the planet because I have understood a long time ago that the planet does not need our help, it is much much much more powerful than we give it credit for and if it wanted it could destroy the entire human race. also i respect it too much. 8) everything has become a money maker....religion, environment, native people's culture, spirituality, and it is hard to take anything seriously anymore.... these are just SOME of the argument points I had, and no i do not loathe myself. i just have come to realize that given history and human thinking/psychology, that we cannot ever achieve peace and that everything we are doing now is pointless. we destroying everything around us and ourselves and then trying to have a quick fix. as long as there is money, stupidity, and well humans......there will ALWAYS be war, hatred, racism and sexism (be it in the open/ mind or behind closed doors), famine, catastrophes. let us not kid ourselves into thinking we can "save" anything or that the MAJORITY (again not all) of humans are good people. we have our own lives and we should focus on things that we truly need. music, books, art, dancing, spirituality.....things that are considered immature and unrealistic to focus on. unless they are making them money..... so what is your opinion? am i just being a child and stupid? am i the one who is being delusional and evil and uncaring?  more

Resolved Question: Can somebody give me the skinny on "Obsession"...?

...the film that was mailed out by the Clarion Fund recently? My girlfriend received one in the mail last week. We put it in and watched most of it last night but did not complete it because we tore one another's clothes off and went off into the bedroom... Thinking back on the film today, I found the threat that Radical Islam poses to the Western world to be quite scary--especially the way it was presented in "Obsession." On the other hand it seemed that the film may have been trying to amp up the fear factor (by choice of clips, scenes, and soundbites, as well as the tension created by the background music that is constantly playing). I'm wondering how seriously we should take this film. The fact that the film is being randomly (as far as I know it's randomly) distributed as some form of propaganda against Radical Islam is a little scary. Radical Islam's hatred of other religions/ideals is quite scary as well. Is this fear mongering or what, I'm not sure? Any thoughts? Anyone? Anyone? KTHXBYE...  more

Resolved Question: Are sources of donations to campaigns documented?

This was a question I answered and my answer got deleted by YA. If not, then they should be. They should be handled by an independent organizer who then delegates the money to the appropriate candidate. I would like to know where all this money for Obama is coming from. I know he has some high profile supporters but the amount of money from September is absurd. Someone said the average democrat donated 84 dollars to Obama. Isn't it amazing that they can do that when all they do is ***** about the economy. I find that 84 dollar figure hard to swallow because that's a pretty hefty chunk of a democrat's paycheck. That money is coming from somewhere and it isn't domestic....that money is coming from overseas....specifically the middle east. Radical America you wanted change, you're gonna get a big change when Obama sells you out to his brethren in the desert. My answer: No only under $200. Are you jealous democrats are raising more money than you. Maybe John McCain would have more to spend on his campaign if he didn't let Sarah Palin spend $150,000 on clothes and makeup. How is that a violation? It was the truth. I'm sick of the repubs reporting stuff they don't want to hear. if it doesn't violate the rules, why report it? I'm going to start reporting every single violation a Repub makes. Who's with me? PS I know it's just a matter of time before this gets deleted too. Thanks YA Please read the bottom of my question.........  more

Resolved Question: Evangelicals and Taliban. which one is more dangerous?

they both think are the are the only saved ones and going to heaven. They both mix religion and state. They both like to limit personal freedom and engage in holy war. They both look down on women (Taliban more in this category). difference is Evangelicals have not yet had total control of a government, as did the Taliban in Afghanistan. if they get that control... Evangelicals wear sheep's clothing as "American" and simple "Christian" till elected. there are 65 million of them and are a radical form of Christianity. Aren't they more dangerous because if they take total control of US government, they will access to the biggest supply of nukes???? the Iraq war was a Jihad (holy war) for the Evangelicals. dummie. the Taliban don't have access to nukes.  more

Resolved Question: Is it true that raising taxes on income $250,000 + means only the rich will get taxed by Obama?

I walked up and down our busiest community street this morning, and I asked the small business owners if that amount of $250,000 would affect them; I visited five ma and pop pizza shops, 2 pizza franchises, a family cleaning business, a residential handyman, a painter with only 4 employees, one small hoagie shop owned by an old man, one hippie ty-dye clothing shop and a chinese laundry owned by Chinese folks for three generations now. What did I find out? THAT OBAMA WOULD BE TAXING EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. EVERY ONE. WHY? BECAUSE THAT AMOUNT OF MONEY, $250,000.00 IS NOT NET INCOME, IT IS GROSS INCOME. That means it is only the amount of business done, before ANY AND ALL EXPENSES INCLUDING PAYROLL, VEHICLES, UTILITIES, RENTS, BONUSES, EVERYTHING - and every single one of these little tiny businesses GROSS THAT AMOUNT OR BETTER... Yet, the painter with 4 employees LOST MONEY LAST YEAR earning that much. When Senator Obama raises his taxes, quess what: HE IS OUT OF BUSINESS AND THERE GOES FOUR MORE PEOPLE ON THE JOBLESS LIST. JOBS WILL BE LOST BY THE HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS. I calculated from the 36 businesses I spoke with, that out of those 36 businesses, AN OBAMA TAX INCREASE WILL MEAN THE DEMISE OF AT LEAST 9 OF THOSE SMALL BUSINESSES, AND FOR EVERY ONE OF THE OTHERS IT MEANS AT LEAST 2 EMPLOYEES MUST BE FIRED. Thats the facts; When John McCain is being blamed by Obama when it was Obama and HIS BABY - ACORN - who forced banks to loan money to people who could not afford those mortgages, its a disgrace. John McCain is the one who wrote the reform act for Freddie and Fannie mae two years ago, and THE SAME DEMOCRATS INCLUDING OBAMA WHO REFUSED A VOTE ON IT, ARE THE SAME CROOKS THAT ARE LYING TO THE PEOPLE TODAY. JOHN MCCAIN WANTS THEM JAILED. HE WANTS THEM TO PAY FOR STEALING OUR MONEY, AND THEY SHOULD PAY AND THEY SHOULD BE IN JAIL FOR THEIR CORRUPTION. WHY IN GODS NAME, DO PEOPLE WISH TO PUT INTO OFFICE A CROOK? THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT OBAMA IS, AND IF YOU PUT HIM IN THE WHITE HOUSE, HE WILL TAKE WITH HIM ALL THE CROOKS AND RADICALS THAT HE ASSOCIATES WITH AND YOU CAN SAY GOODBYE TO ANY AMERICAN DREAM ANY OF US HAD OR HAVE. DOES ANYONE HAVE ENOUGH OF A BRAIN ON THEIR SHOULDER TO UNDERSTAND THE RISK OF PUTTING THIS NUT THIS RADICAL INTO THE WHITE HOUSE?/ ANYBODY? note; Liberals, you are part of the problem, so don't bother answering my questions because if i wanted to hear more lies and more radicalism i would put on your messiah and listen to more lies. thank you. http://www.theobamafile.com http://www.townhall.com  more

Resolved Question: Can someone interpret dreams?

I am a Christian, do I'd prefer someone who keeps that in mind. My husband left May 31 and has since had a terrible/radical change of himself. A few nights ago I was awoken by hearing him scream my name in a semi-distressed way. Furthermore, the next night I drempt he was over at his sisters (who I'm close to) and I was going to borrow some clothes for work from her and I called there, he answered. I said I want to come get them and he insisted he brings them to me. But he was being nice and helpful. Dreams do mean something. Theyre not junk.  more

Resolved Question: The problems Britain is having with immigration already happened hundreds of years ago in the USA ?

The disharmony, distrust, dislike for 'newbies' arriving on your shoes - argh who the f??? do they think they are ? When the Irish arrived in their masses to New York - the Natives (predominantly almost all of them Protestants) absolutely and totaly hated the 'Paddys', there was communal unrest - and then the 'gang wars' happened. They made a movie about this I beleive, but f??? the movie - before the movie came out I knew about all of this, the 'dead rabbits' etc - read it in a 'Encyclopedia of Newyork' (1997) edition , back in 1998. Ironicaly, if you read up on accounts of the nature of these gang wars (once again f??? the movie, it was awful...pathetic account of the reality) you'd be shocked to pieces. Throats slashed, vinegar poured into wounds, eyes gorged with crucifixes, castrations during battle, corpses drenched in 'anti pope/anti protestant' flags (clothing with writing on it), houses set on flames, occasional rapes of Irish girls....New York was no 'big apple' for the first Irish descedents let me just assure you of it. Some of the violence that occured between these factions was so bloody, people grew up with trauma and died prematurely simply from what they saw/experienced with their own eyes. At least we aint that bad yes ? (hope we dont get that bad !) There was also civil unrest with black folks trying to get positions in jobs which were dominated by white folks etc And I could go on forever with the Jewish immigrants, the Dutch etc but i'll let you open up your eyes and broaden your horizons by visiting a good library :-) Maybe our situation (United Kingdom) is a little different though, and perhaps im wrong to equate it to the US history - especialy when there wasn't radical islam involved. the immigrants who arrived to America arrived with hope in their hearts, and loved the prospects on offer - and were willing to make the most of it. Our situation is that the majority who come here come here to rape the system, make a mockery of benefits and depreciate the countrys history and way of life (look at all those islamic hate speaches in London over the years - why oh why have they been allowed ? we should be stern and deploy riot police, no we should deploy the Armed forces out). Or is there more to this issue than meets the eye ? perhaps Great Britain reaks of racism ?  more

Resolved Question: By bashing McCain once again, have these sources finally revealed their far-left liberal nature?

The far left rag, THE WALL STREET JOURNAL, has once again bashed McCain, joking that McCain need not look far to find much of the source of the Wall Street disaster: He can pull over the bus and interview his lobbyist-laden staff. Voting Question: I am ready to give up and stop trying?

I used to just hint to my fiance that i want a baby in the very near future and he always replies with when we get married, well i asked him when he thinks that will be like around about date and he replies with when he feels like it or when i get financially stable. well i really want a baby and i have told him i want kids before i get much older partly because i don't want my kids to be more than 4-5 years apart and my daughter is now 3, and also because 11 out of 12 females in my great grandmas generation died from ovarian, uterine and cervical cancer in their mid to late 20's and early 30's. i have already tested positive for hpv and i am terrified that i may get cancer and i know the only way to get rid of it is to get a radical hysterectomy. i have explained this to him with tears running down my face and i want to cry every time i see babies and baby clothes and stuff. he just tells me to forget about it and that it will happen when hes ready. is there another way that i can explain to him that i really want a baby in the very near future like in the next year or so? please help me, im about to give up.  more

Resolved Question: Are you creative? How do you show your creativity?

You can see my creativity when I cook- the presentation of the meal is always pretty. Even if I am just cooking for myself....it still has to look aesthetically appealing. You can also see my creativity in my appearance- clothes, hair-styles and make-up application. I have my own sense of style (nothing radical- just very in tune with fashion). How about you? Is there a house that rules creativity/art?  more

Resolved Question: Do Obama supporters identify themselves as radical leftists as their leader is one?

Obama is a follower of Saul Alinsky's rules for community organisers. Alinsky wrote Rules for Radicals in 1970. Rules for Radicals opens with a quote about Lucifer, written by Saul Alinsky: "Lest we forget at least an over-the-shoulder acknowledgment to the very first radical: from all our legends, mythology, and history (and who is to know where mythology leaves off and history begins -- or which is which), the first radical known to man who rebelled against the establishment and did it so effectively that he at least won his own kingdom -- Lucifer." In Rules for Radicals, Alinsky says: "Here I propose to present an arrangement of certain facts and general concepts of change, a step toward a science of revolution." He builds on the tactical principles of Machiavelli: "The Prince was written by Machiavelli for the Haves on how to hold power. Rules for Radicals is written for the Have-nots on how to take it away." Rules for Radicals is concerned with the acquisition of power: "my aim here is to suggest how to organize for power: how to get it and how ot use it." This is not to be done with assistance to the poor, nor even by organizing the poor to demand assistance: "...[E]ven if all the low-income parts of our population were organized ... it would not be powerful enough to get significant, basic, needed changes." Alinsky advises the organizer to target the middle class, rather than the poor: "Organization for action will now and in the decade ahead center upon America's white middle class. That is where the power is." Alinsky is interested in the middle class solely for its usefulness: "Our rebels have contemptuously rejected the values and the way of life of the middle class. They have stigmatized it as materialistic, decadent, bourgeois, degenerate, imperialistic, war-mongering, brutalized and corrupt. They are right; but we must begin from where we are if we are to build power for change, and the power and the people are in the middle class majority." To accomplish this, Alinsky writes that the organizer must "begin to dissect and examine that way of life [the middle class lifestyle] ... He will know that 'square' is no longer to be dismissed as such -- instead his own approach must be 'square' enough to get the action started." Rules for Radicals defends belief that the end justifies the means: "to say that corrupt the ends," writes Alinsky, "is to believe in the immaculate conception of ends and principles ... the practical revolutionary will understand ... [that] in action, one does not always enjoy the luxury of a decision that is consistent both with one's individual conscience and the good of mankind." Altogether, Alinsky provides eleven rules of the ethics of means and ends. They are morally relativistic: "The practical revolutionary will understand Goethe's 'conscience is the virtue of observers and not of agents of action'; in action, one does not always enjoy the luxury of a decision that is consistent both with one's individual conscience and the good of mankind." "The second rule of the ethics of the means and ends is that the judgment of the ethics of means is dependent on the political position of those sitting in judgment." Alinsky elaborates his meaning on this point, saying that if you were a member of the underground Resistance, "... then you adopted the means of assassination, terror, property destruction, the bombing of tunnels and trains, kidnapping, and the willingness to sacrifice innocent hostages to the end of defeating the Nazi's. Those who opposed the Nazi's conquerors regarded the Resistance as a secret army of selfless, patriotic idealists ...." Rules for Radicals is therefore concerned with how to win. "...[I]n such a conflict, neither protagonist is concerned with any value except victory." "The third rule of the ethics of means and ends is that in war the ends justifies almost any means." "There can be no such thing as a successful traitor, for if one succeeds, he becomes a founding father." Rules for Radicals teaches the organizer that he must give a moral appearance (as opposed to behaving morally): "All effective action requires the passport of morality." The tenth rule of the ethics of means and ends states "that you do what you can with what you have and clothe it with moral arguments ... Moral rationalization is indispensable at all times of action whether to justify the selection or the use of ends or means." Rules for Radicals provides the organizer with a tactical style for community organization that assumes an adversarial relationship between groups of people in which one either dominates or is dominated. "The first rule of power tactics is: power is not only what you have but what the enemy thinks you have." "Wherever possible go outside the experience of the enemy. Here you want to cause confusion, fear, and retreat." "Make the enemy live up to their own book of rules. You can kill them with this. They can  more

Resolved Question: IS RADICAL FEMINISM One Part Of A BIGGER Problem?

Ladies and gentlemen, your inputs please: I've noticed that the NBA's cheerleaders are wearing lesser and lesser clothes and looking and acting more and more like prostitutes. The company executives sitting in the board-rooms obviously have no compunctions about this. Apart from this being worrisome because children comes to basketball games, I thought it's interesting. Why? Because while feminism has become perverted and is no longer anything like its founders envisioned, here we have perversion of another sort: The turning of sports into circuses and cabarets filled with half-naked women - ironically, the opposite of what feminism wants. Resolved Question: Ramadan section: should Muslims respect lesbians?

Oslo: Muslims in the gay parade For the first time, Muslim homosexuals took part in the Oslo gay parade, mainly to show that they exist. They experience threats and violence, forced marriage, persecution and ridicule, both from their family and from Muslim leaders in Norway. Out of fear of more persecution, they wore niqabs, covering their faces. A girl walking in the parade with a niqab said that it's not a problem to show, but she fears the consequences. 'I'm a Muslim + Lesbian' 'We demand: Respect' Another girl said: We exist. The Muslim population must realize that there are also homosexual Muslims and give us the respect we deserve. Jon Reidar Øyan, head of the Norwegian National Association for Lesbian and Gay Liberation, told Yeye news that the participation of homosexual Muslims was exceedinly important. The head of the Islamic Council says that he can count all the homosexual Muslims on one hand, but this parade shows that he's wrong. For Muslim writer Sara Azmeh Rasmussen, the parade was supposed to be a personal highlight. She told TV2 that it's criticism against a symbol of women's oppression. Also, in this context where homo Muslims don't dare show their face, it's also to show that they won't allow themselves to be ruled by fear. Sara Azmeh Rasmussen came out of the closet earlier this year, and this year she intended to burn a niqab. Rasmussen says that first and foremost it's to support freedom of express which is under pressure from radical forces. Her protest was stopped by the police and niqab-burning did not become a reality. Rasmussen says she doesn't feel free and that it's unreasonable that she isn't permitted to burn clothing of oppression, while Muslims are allowed to burn Norwegian flags. source: http://islamineurope.blogspot.com/search/label/Muslim%20veil What do you think of the article? lolz....... Resolved Question: Why Is the Media Basically Ignoring the Fact that Obama Called the U.S. Evil last Weekend?

During the evangelical Q and A session on Saturday, both candidates were asked something about how they would define evil in today’s world. Barack Obama responded by saying about the greatest evil being ‘when evil is conducted in the pursuit of evil.’ Basically, he’s making a loosely-veiled slap at U.S. foreign policy and unfortunate incidents like Abu Ghraib, the Haditha massacre, and Gunatanamo Bay. This now shows a pattern on Obama’s part. First there are the radical teachings of Jeremiah Wright; then there’s Michelle Obama’s ‘proud’ speech; now Barack just called the United States an ‘evil’ nation. For the record, John McCain answered the same question and defined the greatest evil as being Osama bin Laden, and stated that he would follow him to the gates of hell if he had to. This is why I support John McCain over Barack Obama. Barack Obama is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.  more

Resolved Question: Why is the Feminist Friendly US Media silent about Honor Killings Here?

AN AMERICAN 'HONOR KILLING' By JOHN P. AVLON July 23, 2008 -- ON July 6, police say, a Pakistani named Chaudhry Rashid strangled his 25-year-old daughter San- deela Kanwal with a Bungee cord in her bedroom because she wanted to end her arranged marriage. This "honor killing" came not in Pakistan, but in Jonesboro, Ga. - a suburb 16 miles outside Atlanta. At his arraignment, Rashid said through an Urdu interpreter that he was "not in the state of mind to talk because of the death of his daughter," but stated "I have done nothing wrong." This is not the same as declaring innocence. His attorney, Tammy Long, explained, "My client is going through a difficult time. As you can imagine, he is distraught." Apparently, it takes a stronger man to murder his daughter without sentiment. The national media has paid little attention to the story of Kanwal's murder, though most outlets found plenty of time to debate the cover of The New Yorker. When a blonde girl goes missing, cable networks stop in their tracks - but when a Muslim woman is murdered by her father, there's not a ripple of sustained interest. Where's the outrage? Maybe it's muted because we've grown reluctant to pass judgment on other culture's customs - but multiculturalism hits a crossroads when honor killings come to America. The United Nations estimates that the world sees 5,000 honor killings a year - overwhelmingly in the Middle East, South Asia and Africa, but increasingly among Muslim immigrant communities in Europe. The United States has avoided this bloodstained trend until recently. Some consider Kanwal's death the first documented honor killing here. Others point to the murder of sisters Amina and Sarah Said in Irving, Texas, on New Years' 2007. (Their MySpace page remains up. Featuring assimilated teen culture and American music, it is haunting.) Their father remains on the run from police. Few doubt that other honor killings have occurred behind closed doors. In upstate Monroe County just a few days ago, a girl was stabbed by her brother for wearing immodest western clothing and wanting to move to New York City. According to court documents, Waheed Allah Mohammad explained the stabbing by saying his sister was a "bad Muslim girl." "Honor killing is a misnomer," author and exile Ayaan Hirsi Ali told me. "The killing occurs because these girls have allegedly brought shame on their family. The paradox is that these are individuals who have emancipated themselves. "These girls embody the American dream. They want to become self-reliant - deciding who they marry, when they marry and how many children they will have." On the surface, this sounds like a classic case for the left - outrages well worth protesting. Honor killings and other tribal customs like female genital mutilation represent a far greater threat to human rights than comparatively benign examples of Western sexism, like unrealistic measurements on a Barbie doll. But this would require recognizing that the greatest danger to civil liberties in the world today comes not from the United States, but from a medieval tribalism that's still murdering people around the world under the guise of enforcing piousness. "America is an assimilating nation," affirms Ayaan, "and so when immigrant Muslim men assimilate into American society they are applauded for it. But when some immigrant Muslim women assimilate into American society, they find themselves ostracized - beaten and even killed by their own families. And the American public ignores their plight to protect the immigrant Muslim community from stigma." There should be wall-to-wall coverage when Rashid's pretrail hearings begin tomorrow in Atlanta. By any standards, this is a sensational crime. Instead, the trial may well get dismissed as old news or swept under the rug as just another domestic-violence case. These rationalizations cover up a discomfort with wading into cultural judgment - and a desire to avoid the risk of violence that always comes with criticizing radical Islam. There's a cost to such squeamishness. In England, Lord Chief Justice Phillips, the country's top judge, has said that sharia law should be incorporated into British law, while the Archbishop of Canterbury described such incorporation as "inevitable." This slippery slope threatens to undermine liberal democracy and even the concept of civilized norms. America must make a stand, because many Europeans either can't or won't. As Ayaan says: "As an immigrant Muslim woman running for your life, from your own family, I think America is a better place for us, because we know that Americans are individualist enough that they will ultimately chose to protect us - while Europeans choose to stick their heads in the sand and pretend nothing is going on." Our ultimate victory in the War on Terror will be to encourage a Muslim reformation by offering examples of successful Muslim-American citizens - especially women - who thrive within the equal rights and open opportunities of American society. For Muslim women who want to live in freedom, America is the last best hope on earth - and we must remain nothing less. John P. Avlon is the author of "Independent Nation: How Centrists Can Change American Politics."  more

Resolved Question: Penis Enlargement, Radical Feminist conspiracy?

Women have never controlled sex, but since the mid-90's, I am beginning to think that they may be getting a tighter grasp on it, like they are with everything else in Humanity! Are there any Men who understand that there are "NO ADVANTAGES" to Penis enlargement? The only one that benefits is the female! It has been a growing trend since the mid 90's for Men to enlarge their penis to fulfill the sexual desires of their lovers. This medical technology has existed for quite some time, but it is fascinating that it became popular around the same time as the rise of 3rd Wave Feminism! I wouldn't be surprised if Feminists were conspiring together and these supplements were perilous to Men’s Health. Perhaps they are using them to slowly kill off the entire male population! Here are the effects of Penis enlargement for both sexes: Male - Slower ambulation - Decreased flexibility - Clothing more limited * No increased sexual pleasure - Health risks Females - Capacity to control sex and relationship - Increased sexual pleasure - Supreme bliss I have drawn a plan to have many Cosmetic Enhancements executed on myself in the future, Penis enlargement is not one of them. I do not have procedures for my girlfriend’s sexual fulfillment, not that nay of my past girlfriends have had any complaints! Feminists, please don’t give me any predictable answers, my penis is of an average size, and I am content with what I was given. And if you ask me how I know these things if I haven't attempted Penis enlargement? Infomercials......... Bigger doesn't mean better! Where did you get that notion from a 6 year old child or a Feminist. I am a male and I would feel violated if my penis were enlarged. I hold more confidence with smaller genitals! Power to smaller genitals and less to the Women that hat them! Suffice to say, other than you partner, who is going to care about this dramatical change? zxt - Women did nothing to deserve those rights, Men granted you those rights, and they can just as easily take them away - get over it! aguis152 - your answer is opinionated, thus flawed. If I had a large penis I would have it reduced in size for my own well-being. End of story. Echo - 4-19 - Vaginal tightening does not have as much exposure as Penis enlargement, so I rest my point. And Black males have proven themselves useful in many trades in which they can outperform white males. The NBA for example would be nothing without them. While the WNBA is the most hated franchise of all time because Women are athletically limited. If it were a gymnasium of Black Women, I would very well do just that. And you just reinforced my point, the Feminist movement is comprised of mere defenseless Women. End of Story.  more

Resolved Question: I can't stand Al Sharpton?

This dude gets me so mad. He says he supports civil rights, but I just think he is a racist towards white people and only supports black peoples' civil rights.Like when the white kid got SHOT by the black dad for simply standing in front of the door A look at the facts. Sean Bell's friend said "Want me to go get the gat" so it's obvious these dudes had access to weapons. All three of them had criminal records. The officers repeatedly told these gentlemen to freeze, yet they kept on coming head on with them. The guy driving the car actually hit one of the officers with the car- and a piece of his clothing was on the bumper of the car. Let's reverse the situation, and say they didn't shoot, would it be ok for them to hit an officer with a car? What if that car seriously injured one of the officers? What will the burnt cookie be protesting then. I find it so silly that this is the man talking civil rights, that was in the recent past extremely radical. No We are a nation of laws, and we are supposed to follow those laws. When people like him disrupt peoples' day with stupid bullshit like this for criminals like Sean Bell it gets me heated. Not white btw. I'm Puerto Rican I totally agree bro. This dude calls everything racist which is my point. Imus. which called all kinds of racist names, was harassed by this dude and his crap. I tend to think he likes to think we live in the days Dr King lived in. Gs funk. The United States, I think cares for me. I serve it and I feel very accepted by it. And the black man is the one who shot the most bullets you brainless twat. What the freak does the "White man" have to do with it. You must be as stupid as you write loser And I do remember that, and they were already proven innocent. I didn't say he didn't have the right to talk, but when you make hassle from people actually working in a job with your bs, I have a definite problem with it. Resolved Question: why labour day is celebrated in September instead of on 1st may in the us,? (please read details)?

SITE MENU: HOME | NEWS | OPINION | ARTS | SPORTS | CAMPUS LIFE | PHOTOS | ADVERTISING INFO | ABOUT Last Published: April 29, 2008Boston Weather: 42 °F | FairVolume 120 >> Issue 23 : Friday, April 28, 2000No PDF Available COLUMN Commemorating the True May Day Guest Column Brice Smith May 1st is International Workers’ Day, a holiday set aside to commemorate the historic struggle of working people throughout the world. It is recognized in every country except the United States and Canada, despite the fact that the holiday began in response to the brutal massacre of workers and labor leaders demonstrating for an eight-hour work day in Chicago. In 1884, the Federation of Organized Trades and Labor Unions passed a resolution stating that eight hours would constitute a legal day’s work from May 1, 1886. The Federation called for a general strike to achieve this goal, since legislative methods had failed to yield any results. Support for the eight-hour movement grew rapidly among the rank-and-file despite the indifference and hostility of many union leaders. By April 1886, 250,000 workers were involved in the May Day movement throughout the country. The heart of the eight-hour movement was in Chicago, organized primarily by the anarchist International Working People’s Association. The business and governmental powers in Illinois were increasingly disturbed by the revolutionary character of the movement and began to prepare for a violent confrontation. Financed by local business leaders, the police and militia were increased in size and received new and deadlier weapons. To give a specific example, Chicago’s Commercial Club purchased a two-thousand-dollar machine gun for the Illinois National Guard for use against striking workers. Despite the crackdown on labor and the military buildup of anti-union forces, by May 1 the movement had already won gains for many Chicago clothing cutters, shoemakers, and packing-house workers. When workers went on strike at the McCormick Reaper Works Factory on May 3, 1886, police fired into the crowd, killing four and wounding many others. The anarchists called for a mass rally the next day in Haymarket Square to protest the brutality shown by the police towards the strikers. The rally proceeded without incident, until the last speaker was ready to leave the platform. By this point, it was getting late and it was starting to rain, so there were only about 200 or so protesters left at the rally. It was then that 180 police officers marched into the square and ordered the meeting to disperse. As the speaker left the stage, someone threw a bomb at the approaching police, killing one and wounding seventy. The police responded by firing into the crowd, killing one and injuring many. It was never determined who threw the bomb, but the incident was used as an excuse to try to wipe out all of the labor and progressive movements in Chicago. The police ransacked the homes and offices of suspected radicals, and several hundred were arrested without cause. The anarchists in particular were targeted due to their involvement with the eight-hour movement. Eight of Chicago’s most active anarchists were charged with conspiracy to commit murder in connection with the Haymarket bombing, despite the fact that only one was even present at the meeting, and he was on the speakers’ platform. All eight were found guilty and sentenced to death, despite a complete lack of evidence that any of them had any connection to the person who threw the bomb. Albert Parsons, August Spies, Adolf Fischer, and George Engel were hanged on November 11, 1887, Louis Lingg committed suicide in prison, and the remaining three were finally pardoned in 1893. Rather than suppressing the labor and radical movements, the events of 1886 and the execution of the Chicago anarchists actually mobilized many radicals of the next generation. Emma Goldman, a young immigrant at the time, later called the events surrounding the Haymarket affair her political birth. Lucy Parsons, the widow of Albert Parsons, called upon the poor to direct their anger toward the rich capitalists responsible for the horrible conditions the working class lived with. She later traveled the world urging workers throughout Europe to celebrate May Day and remember the events of Haymarket and the subsequent government-sponsored murder of those fighting for the rights of all workers. Instead of destroying the anarchist movement, the events in the wake of Haymarket served to strengthen the movement, spawning other radical organizations, including the Industrial Workers of the World. By covering up the true history of May Day, and attempting to pass off that day in September as “Labor Day” in this country, the state, business, mainstream unions, and the corporate media have covered up a vital chapter in the legacy of dissent in this country. We must recognize and commemorate May Day not only for its historical significance, but also as a time to organize around issues of vital importance to working-class people today. In that effort, activists, labor organizations, students, and all those outraged by the excesses and abuses of modern capitalism will converge on Boston’s financial district this May 1 to show that we will not forget, and that together we can take back the world. Resolved Question: Where can you buy Çarsaf and other muslim clothes?? What do you think about the Çarsaf?

Does it depend on the districts? (I wonder if you can buy muslim clothes in a mall or just in certain stores, and, if these stores ar just in more traditional district or you can find one in Taksim, Istanbul, for example). And what's your opinion of wearing Çarsaf? (not muslim clothes, just Çarsaf). Do you think that a woman that wears it is repressed or opressed? Do uncovered women get on well with women that wears it? It seems that behaviors, thoughs, ideals are far different between them. As far as I am concerned, I respect everybody cause the way they wear is not my business, but I have to say that the first Time I saw a woman wearing it, it was a little surprising, even shocking, cause I didn't expect to see that in a modern country like Turkey. PS: my second question is just for Çarsaf, not the other typical muslim clothes. It's not surprising or shocking for me to see traditional people, but Çarsaf is like the most radical of muslim clothes. PS: It's just my opinion. Don't want to offend. I don't say that çarsaf is good or bad, just that is a little shocking for me. Even I feel strange when see a nun!!! Not exactly strange, but is surprising how people wear on certain way just for religion. But as I sais, it's not my business- EDIT: denyocan, when I say "muslim clothes" I mean traditional ones, I know it's wrong to say "muslim", sorry. Nevertheless, I really thought that they had something to do with beliefs. And, no, I don't want to spread the craze of wearing Çarsaf in Spain, altough it is the ideal dress for a gala, don't you think so? haha ;) EDIT: Trotsky vs Kerensky --> yes, Spain was very influenced by Church, altough it has lost power now. It's familiar to see a nun, but a lot we think they're a little strange. I don't know. I don't know how to express what I really feel in english... I mean, when you see a nun, you feel that it's not common, she's not like an average person, she's like a weirdo. Sorry, can't express myself better... Resolved Question: Well has anyone read this?

So this guy comes up to me and says "what's the vision? What's the big idea?" I open my mouth and words come out like this… The vision? The vision is JESUS – obsessively, dangerously, undeniably Jesus. The vision is an army of young people. You see bones? I see an army. And they are FREE from materialism. They laugh at 9-5 little prisons. They could eat caviar on Monday and crusts on Tuesday. They wouldn't even notice. They know the meaning of the Matrix, the way the west was won. They are mobile like the wind, they belong to the nations. They need no passport.. People write their addresses in pencil and wonder at their strange existence. They are free yet they are slaves of the hurting and dirty and dying. What is the vision ? The vision is holiness that hurts the eyes. It makes children laugh and adults angry. It gave up the game of minimum integrity long ago to reach for the stars. It scorns the good and strains for the best. It is dangerously pure. Light flickers from every secret motive, every private conversation. It loves people away from their suicide leaps, their Satan games. This is an army that will lay down its life for the cause. A million times a day its soldiers choose to loose that they might one day win the great 'Well done' of faithful sons and daughters. Such heroes are as radical on Monday morning as Sunday night. They don't need fame from names. Instead they grin quietly upwards and hear the crowds chanting again and again: "COME ON!" And this is the sound of the underground The whisper of history in the making Foundations shaking Revolutionaries dreaming once again Mystery is scheming in whispers Conspiracy is breathing… This is the sound of the underground And the army is discipl(in)ed. Young people who beat their bodies into submission. Every soldier would take a bullet for his comrade at arms. The tattoo on their back boasts "for me to live is Christ and to die is gain". Sacrifice fuels the fire of victory in their upward eyes. Winners. Martyrs. Who can stop them ? Can hormones hold them back? Can failure succeed? Can fear scare them or death kill them ? And the generation prays like a dying man with groans beyond talking, with warrior cries, sulphuric tears and with great barrow loads of laughter! Waiting. Watching: 24 – 7 – 365. Whatever it takes they will give: Breaking the rules. Shaking mediocrity from its cosy little hide. Laying down their rights and their precious little wrongs, laughing at labels, fasting essentials. The advertisers cannot mould them. Hollywood cannot hold them. Peer-pressure is powerless to shake their resolve at late night parties before the cockerel cries. They are incredibly cool, dangerously attractive inside. On the outside? They hardly care. They wear clothes like costumes to communicate and celebrate but never to hide. Would they surrender their image or their popularity? They would lay down their very lives - swap seats with the man on death row - guilty as hell. A throne for an electric chair. With blood and sweat and many tears, with sleepless nights and fruitless days, they pray as if it all depends on God and live as if it all depends on them. Their DNA chooses JESUS. (He breathes out, they breathe in.) Their subconscious sings. They had a blood transfusion with Jesus. Their words make demons scream in shopping centres. Don't you hear them coming? Herald the weirdo's! Summon the losers and the freaks. Here come the frightened and forgotten with fire in their eyes. They walk tall and trees applaud, skyscrapers bow, mountains are dwarfed by these children of another dimension. Their prayers summon the hounds of heaven and invoke the ancient dream of Eden. And this vision will be. It will come to pass; it will come easily; it will come soon. How do I know? Because this is the longing of creation itself, the groaning of the Spirit, the very dream of God. My tomorrow is his today. My distant hope is his 3D. And my feeble, whispered, faithless prayer invokes a thunderous, resounding, bone-shaking great 'Amen!' from countless angels, from hero's of the faith, from Christ himself. And he is the original dreamer, the ultimate winner. Guaranteed. Resolved Question: Are you a true child of the 80's,do any of these apply?

You had a crush on one of the New Kids on the Block members. You wanted to be on StarSearch. You ever uttered the word "Radical!" You wore jelly shoes and jelly bracelets You thought "Ghostbusters" was by far the coolest movie You can remember what Michael Jackson looked like before his nose fell off. Or even when he had those freaky eyes in "Thriller" at the end of the video. You wore a banana clip in your hair or one of those slap on wrist bands at some point during your youth. You rolled up the bottoms of your splatter painted jeans. You knew what Willis was "talkin' 'bout." You know the profound meaning of "Wax on, Wax off." You can name half of the members of the elite "Brat Pack." You can remember watching Full House and Saved by the Bell for endless hours! You have seen at least 10 episodes of Fraggle Rock. You know that another name for a keyboard is a "Synthesizer." You hold a special place in your heart for "Back to the Future." You know where to go if you "wanna go where everybody knows your name." You thought Molly Ringwald was REALLY cool. You know what "sike" and "not!" mean You fell victim to 80's fashion : big hair, crimped, combed over to the side, big hoop earrings, and possibly the worst:you wore spandex pants. You wanted to be a Goonie, or Elliot from E.T. You knew "The Artist" when he was humbly called "Prince." You actually saw Ted Danson as the MacDaddy he played "Sam" to be. You ever wore flourescent -neon if you will clothing.... You could breakdance, or wished you could. You know who He-Man and She-Ra are. You remember when ATARI was a state of the art video game system. You know all the words to "Ice Ice Baby". You remember MC hammer well. You can still sing the rap to "Fresh Prince of Belair". You own any cassettes. You were led to believe that in the year 2000 we'd all be living on the moon. Poltergeist freaked you out. You have ever pondered why Smurfette was the ONLY female smurf. You ever had a Swatch Watch. You actually spent countless hours trying to perfect the care-bear stare. You had a crush on one of the Coreys You remember when Saturday Night Live was funny. You had WonderWoman or Superman underwear. You wanted to be The Hulk for Halloween. You believed that "By the power of Greyskull, you HAD the power" You thought that Transformers were more than meets the eye. Partying "like it's 1999" seemed SO far away!!!!!!!!!!!!! Resolved Question: What can I do to help?

I am 16 and I don't have a job or any money, but I have been studying hard for my whole life so that one day I could save the starving children of the world. Please don't call it cliche, and I'm not trying to preach self-righteousness, it's just something I can't stop thinking about because I know God didn't mean for the world to be like this--there's enough for everyone. There really is. So how can we justify billions of children dying every day from starvation? It's not right. And something needs to change NOW. I want to sell all my clothes so that I can give what I have and what they don't. But I'm not allowed to because it's not "socially acceptable" and "too radical", apparently. But I plan to live modestly. And I need to know what I can do to help these people directly. I don't have money--I don't even have a college fund. But I have my skills and talents and a ton of love. I could possibly fund-raise, but I'm not allowed to solicit. Does anyone know what I can do to help?  more

Resolved Question: What did Christ mean when he said these things?

The “Sermon on the Mount” (Matthew 5:1-7:29) summarizes the most familiar and important principles of living a just, ethical and moral life espoused by the founder of Christianity, this man we call Jesus Christ. In the sermon, Christ calls upon his followers to, among other things, “love your enemies,” “do good to those who hate you,” “turn the other cheek,” to abandon concerns about where one’s food, shelter and clothing will come from, etc. So important are these principles, in fact, that one’s salvation depends on living a life that reflects them. These are noble and laudable principles; they’re also radical and apparently very difficult for most people to live by. Only a handful of notable people since the time of Christ have actually managed to live their true meaning. So, how is one (especially one who is a Christian) to understand what Christ meant by these exhortations, and to reconcile the gap between the principles and the practice? Are we to assume that these were merely suggestions or guidelines? How is war and killing explained against Christ’s call to “love” your “enemies” or “offer the other cheek” if one strikes you? If he didn’t mean these things to be taken literally, then how DID he mean them? And if they are not meant literally, then of what value are they? I would welcome a serious, thoughtful and probative discussion of this. Do others struggle with these questions? What comes of this struggle? Many thanks for your responses. It is in the nature of theism and its various religious iterations to rely on dogma and faith to explain what cannot be made clear by logic, and to resolve humankind’s most perplexing conflicts between what we are called upon to do by our faith and what we are actually willing to do by our humanness. We accept the teachings of Christ (in this case) in large part be-cause we have assigned him the status of deity. Yet, it discomfits us to sit with, ponder and reflect on the challenges he places before his followers regarding how to live a just, ethical and moral life when we realize just how far we are from meeting those challenges. We attribute our shortcomings to our human imperfections, which is certainly true. But we know that even this is an insufficient concession, so we permit ourselves other various ways to countenance our failings. We rely on the belief that all we need to do is give it our best shot, whatever that is. Or we reinterpret the plain language of the most problematic teachings by explaining that they are not meant to be taken literally, or that they must be understood in the context of other often conflicting and equally disquieting tenets of our faith. Or we tell ourselves that these teachings are highly sophisticated metaphorical constructs and that the key to our moral comfort is in apprehending the metaphor’s deeper hidden meaning. We invest a great deal of energy in these intellectual efforts comforted by the belief that if our motivation is pure and our faith is genuine, the “God” in whom that faith is placed and by whose hands our lives are guided will consider the effort worthy of our salvation. For me, that is not good enough. The teachings from the Sermon are timeless and universal, but they are not suggestions nor are they other-worldly, any more than the Ten Command-ments are. They have practical, real-world meaning and purpose, and Christ, it seems to me, called on his followers and all of us to live them, not as metaphors, not just when it’s con-venient or easy to do so, but in that way. Our failure to live these principles should disquiet us because it is the disquiet, the struggle to reconcile how we are in the world versus how we should be that keeps us truly hones and on track. Thank you again for your contributions. I appreciate them all.  more

Resolved Question: Obama's says he’s Christian, but his churches visions are far from Christianity visions. Why the contridition?

http://www.tucc.org/about.htm... "the mother continent, the cradle of civilization. A congregation with a non-negotiable COMMITMENT TO AFRICA." Are you kidding me? These are not Christain Visions!!!! My Church which is Christian does not segragate people, ethnic background or continents. My church believes we are all God's Children. Obama's roots are deep with Muslim culture and Islamic beliefs, on his father's side. His mother's was an atheist. Evidence and history has shown us that Muslim radicals are extremely patient in the missions that they are engaged in to prove their beliefs. My husband is black. He's NOT voting for Obama. I'm white, Obama's mom was white, I'm NOT voting for Obama. Anyone can quickly say that they are Christian, just to get votes. Canadicy is a mission to persuade the less otherwise unpersuasive voters to elect him/her as president. Resolved Question: why Headscraft problem in Turkey?

Turkish elitists are afraid of resemble with Iran. Actually, Turkish modernization is long process. on the other hand, headscraft is religious rights and it is also human right. so, there is big debate in Turkey. For me, Islam must be re interpreted by intellectuals. because, it does not fit modern society. Headscraft came from prophet Mohammed's era and we don't know how was conditions for women at that time. some of intellectuals say that there was vulgarity against women and prophet mohammed wanted to protect Muslim women in this way. now, there is no insult any women in modern society. so, why headscraft ? Nevertheless, headscraft is still going on traditional religious clothes the most important things about headscraft is symbol of radicalism that secularists are so afraid of this kind of interpreting islam. therefore, traditional religious headscraft is added in this category. so, we could not solve this problem who is radical and who is moderate? I'm not wear headscraft. I don't believe it and this era is not prophet Mohammed's era and women are equal to men  more

Resolved Question: Fastest way to overthrow the US government?

My list: 1. Buy nothing except things needed to survive (food, basic clothing, etc) 2. Radical secularism. Secularism is the nectar of the liberated mind and body and a capitalist society can't withstand a populace that is free in mind and body. 3. Feel Free to add to the list. Fastest way to overthrow the US government? to first poster....having babies robs people of liberated minds and lives. My do you think non-capitalist societies advocate small families?  more

Resolved Question: To :Obama supporters..How do you defend this?

http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=59887 as well the fact that he was raised under sharia law(radical form of Islam)he attends a completely segregated church with an aggressively racist pastor who praises Lewis Farrakhan and even put him on the cover of the church magazine,,,, I dont like him or Hillary,,but this guy seems like a wolf in sheeps clothing,,,,my question is.. "ARE YOU OKAY WITH THIS BEHAVIOR? THE FACT HE WAS RAISED MUSLIM AND ATTENDS A COMPLETELY SEGRAGATED CHURCH RUN BY A VERY RACIST PASTOR,,worse than Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson ever even thought about being..  more

Resolved Question: Just Who Is Obama?

Unless you want a radical Christian as your next President, don't support Barack Hussein Obama. You may ask, "He can't be a born-again Christian, can he? Isn't he more in step with Muslims and Atheists?" But let's let the truth be known. Even though his father was a non-practicing Muslim; and even though Obama spent two years in a state-run school in Indonesia, that contrary to Muslim law taught both boys and girls and allowed their teachers to wear Western clothing; as an adult Obama didn't just join a church, but he answered the call at Trinity United Church of Christ. Now Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Christian because it is not politically expedient when you are seeking political office as a Dem. But if elected, be warned. This radical Christian will work for extremist Christian values: compassion (Heb. 6:10), a fight against rich corporate interests(Matt. 6:24), an extension of social programs (Matt. 25:45), and no public piety. Are we ready? Ha, ha. You guys are a hoot. Nine answers and nobody got the joke. It's not a hoax, it's a satire of all the "Baral is a Muslim" crap. You've all been punked.  more

Resolved Question: e-mail about obama.. is this true?!?

All Rightie Then," just in case you're interested..... We need to be very careful in selecting who is going to lead us. This following reminds me of a scripture in the Holy Bible where it cautions us to beware of "wolves in sheep's clothing." Who is Barack Obama? U.S. presidential candidate, Barack Hussein Obama was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, to Barack Hussein Obama, Sr., a black MUSLIM from Nyangoma-Kogel, Kenya and Ann Dunham, a white ATHIEST from Wichita ,Kansas. Obama's parents met at the University of Hawaii. When Obama was two years old, his parents divorced. His father returned to Kenya. His mother then married Lolo Soetoro, a RADICAL Muslim from Indonesia. When Obama was 6 years old, the family relocated to Indonesia. Obama attended a MUSLIM school in Jakarta. He also spent two years in a Catholic school. Obama takes great care to conceal the fact that he is a Muslim. He is quick to point out that, "He was once a Muslim, but that he also attended Catholic school." Obama's political handlers are attempting to make it a ppear that Obama's introduction to Islam came via his father, and that this influence was temporary at best. In reality, the senior Obama returned to Kenya soon after the divorce, and never again had any direct influence over his son's education Lolo Soetoro, the second husband of Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, introduced his stepson to Islam. Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta. Wahabism is the RADICAL teaching that is followed by the Muslim terrorists who are now waging Jihad against the western world. Since it is politically expedient to be a CHRISTIAN when seeking major public office in the United States, Barack Hussein Obama has joined the United Church of Christ in an attempt to down-play his Muslim background. Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's presidential candidacy. The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside out, what better way to start than at the highest level - through the President of the United States, one of their own!! ALSO, keep in mind that when he was sworn into office - he DID NOT use the Holy Bible, but instead the Kuran (Their equivalent to our Bible, but very different beliefs). HE ALSO WONT SALUTE THE FLAG,OR PLEDGE ALLEGANCE TO IT Please forward to everyone you know.Would you want this man leading our country?......NOT ME!!! btw this is an email i received.. not my beliefs for the guy that called me a wacko... no not forwarding to smear his name.. asking people if they know this to be true because it is getting close to election time and something like this can throw a person off. People always say to do your research.. well this is part of it!  more

Resolved Question: Do you think all PETA members should be thrown in jail?

Before you call me a radical look at this: . They have desicrated a hampster tester's family member's grave and people support them . They go around protesting about testing on animals on cures for cancer, people still donate and fund . They send death threats 24/7 . They throw blood over people wearing clothing such as leather .And a hell of alot more. Don't get me wrong I love groups such as RSPCA and Dog's Trust (Because I love dogs) but these charities focus on wellbeing of animals, not cruelty and violence. Anyways tell me what you think So you think they have the right to threaten and throw blood on people?  more
