Hi, I've noticed that when I wash some of my sweatshirts and pants, the lining material get ruined. I'm not completely sure what they are made of, the tags say cotton and polyester, but the outside feels like cotton and the inside is very soft (mostly my pullove sweatshirts). When I wash them, the inside get kind of hard and crumbly feeling. Is there a way to stop this from happeneing when I wash them? Thanks! Okay these are the people I have... The first one in was a short-haired girl with creamy-colored skin. With her pale complexion, it was no secret that her ink-black hair color was not god-given. She was slender with petite features, slight curves that were drowned by a pair of baggy jeans and a grey sweatshirt that was at least two sizes too big. Her eyes were dark and distant, sending the signal of inapproachability from the first glance. She stoically chose the first chair to the left, the top of the moon-shaped formation. Silently, she waited. The next in was a guy, similarly dressed. He was tall, muscular and had light mocha-colored skin. His dark hair was trimmed close to his head. His smooth, square jaw clenched as he scanned the room with hazel-green eyes, choosing to sit at the opposite end of the crescent. He gave the girl a pausing glance but when she didn't look up, he averted his eyes to the door. The third person came in seconds later, a short, thin guy who didn't look any older than thirteen. Hi, I'd like to buy durable and effective sweatshirts for my daughter who is at Boston. I am confused with all that is available.......... I'm going for something comfortable and casual. I tried it on and liked how it looked, but didn't know if other people would think I was a raving idiot. I figured that wearing the dress underneath looks more like using the dress like a skirt rather than as a dress. On the tag, it says Machine Wash Cold Water Gentle Cycle with like colours No bleach Tumble Dry Low The sleeves and some other parts got REALLY Grey, from school, writing/taking notes and smudging against the table. (I am left handed, and since you start writing on the left side of the paper, it smudges even more) I didn't read the tag before and I dipped a cotton swab in bleach and rubbed it on my sweater. The stains came out a little, then, I started seeing some purple... So I rinsed the shirt sleeve with cold water. The purple came out. The shirt is cleaner now, but there are still other bad stains. So I took a nail brush,and a cup with the combination of 1 part laundry detergent and 3 parts water. I dipped that and brushed my shirt. It worked for like maybe I really like stain. What would be a great name for a line of clothing? I'm mostly going for t-shirts and sweatshirts for the young adults that can afford it. Resolved Question: How can I remove glitter glue off of a cotton sweatshirt?

I put fabric glitter glue on a cotton sweatshirt and i was wondering if there is any way i can remove it. I already tried to peel half of it off but the really thin parts i can't seen to remove. I've washed it a few times and that doesn't seem to work. How else can i remove it? Would this work?: What is i heated up an iron and ironed over the glitter and "melted it" then kinda washed it off. Resolved Question: I'm starting a Childrens Clothing Line and need to know Screen Print or transfers + suppliers of blanks?

I have a childrens clothing line concept that i have been developing and refining for years and get stuck on things like Do you screen print or use transfers printed on computer, do I use a manufacturer, do I start out small from home and print only what's ordered via internet... I have spent hours and hours scanning the internet for suppliers of Blank items (t-shirts, rompers, bibs sweatshirts) and other baby wear and am having trouble finding many wholesalers full stop!!! and generally the ones I do come across are based O.S. I would like to use Australia 100% cotton items preferably as I'm based in Australia. I am quite happy to use O.S as long as they send here. I can't believe it's such a limited market as the same names come up on the net over and over again! Does anyone please know of a reliable company for a starting point - even China would be great as I only need the blank items so I can create my designs on them. more

There were at least 40 presents around the tree. We were a middle class family but rich at the same time. Well, my dad explains it better than I do. While sitting there, I got up and got the old radio from the cold basement that belonged to my great grandma and turned on the Christmas station. The song “Rocking around the Christmas Tree” was playing and I was singing along to it. Everyone said I had I nice voice but I didn’t believe them. Them meaning my two, still in love parents. My brother said, “Look at this present it’s HUGE!” He grabbed a present that was as big as nightstand and had his name written in black permanent marker, it looked a lot like my mom’s cursive hand writing but I didn’t bother to tell him because I was trying to concentrate on my singing and because I knew he would find out that Santa wasn’t real. I did and I knew it all along. He started to open it, but I smacked it from his hands, and snatched it. “No, not yet!” Then he yelled loud enough to get our mom to come downstairs, “MOM! Guilie (JU*LEE) hit me!” We were an Italian and German family, and all the usual. “No I didn’t! He’s lying!” The hallway light beamed on the upside down L stair case and I saw my mother’s skinny shadow getting closer to the wall. We drove around the parking lot for five minutes but found a spot right by Green family, who lived in another county but didn’t have a church in their county. Resolved Question: How to get out stain?

Hey everyone, I just bought this white sweatshirt from American Eagle the other day, and low-and-behold, I spilt oil (Or maybe vinegar?) from a pasta all over it. It left sort of a yellow stain. I already tried something called Shout Wipes, which usually seem to work for me (Haha, apparently I spill stuff all the time, I guess) but unfortunately... very, VERY unfortunately, it didn't this time. Again, the sweatshirt is white and mostly made off cotton. It's brand new, and I really love it, so any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you all so much. Hopefully something will work. more

I have a black cotton sweatshirt that has been signed by a band. They used a silver Sharpie. I haven't washed it yet because I'm afraid the signatures wash out, but it needs to be cleaned soon because I wear it fairly often. more
