Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s criticism of leaks from selection meetings included a suggestion that if what went on inside closed doors had to come out then the whole meeting might as well be televised. Dhoni may have been only half-serious but the idea found favour with Kishan Rungta, a former national selector. In fact Rungta made a similar suggestion way back in 1997 - he had told the Kolkata-based Telegraph that the selection meetings could be telecast live just as the proceedings in Parliament. Voting Question: My disability income is less than my mortgage, and I can't pay my bills. Help!?

I am a 51 year old man who has been on a disability income from the Government since the 1980s. I have had multiple spinal surgeries for an injury during my twenties, and have been left with metal pins permanently supporting my spinal column and severe spinal pain. I was also diagnosed in the 1980s with HCV (Hepatitis C, a chronic disease of the liver). I live with this disease, and am much better of than many who suffer from it, but I am on a treatment plan that requires the constant monitor of my health and function by a liver specialist. I have a mortgage payment every month, along with electric, gas and water bills. I am not frivolous-- I have the cheapest cricket phone plan, no land line, and no cable. Here is my problem: My monthly disability income does not even fully pay my monthly mortgage payment. I am in collection over old co-payments I was unable to pay to doctor's offices, and for credit cards from years ago. I have a car, which I need in order to get myself to and from my multiple doctor's appointments each month, and no money to put gas in its tank. I have applied for food stamps, and was warded $14 dollars a month. I do not in any way mean to have an ungrateful attitude-- but $14 dollars is simply not enough to live on. For my adult life, I have been a working artist, which is a career that has certainly earned its ups and downs, and isn't appreciably stable in nature. I have still managed to make ends (barely) meet, and to put that extra $100 dollars into my mortgage payment, pay the house insurance, the bills, and to live frugally. As I get older, I am finding this lifestyle more difficult to uphold. No one is buying art at this time, with the current economy. And I am unable to work as I used to. There are days when i am all but unable to get out of bed because of the weakness, fever, and pain that is a part of HCV and chronic cirrhosis. I have Government medical insurance, but I still must pay a co-pay to my doctor every two weeks, and even this $25 dollar sum I am consistently unable to pay. For the past couple of months, my daughter and ex-wife have been helping me to supplement my bill payments. There's no way that can continue, however. My daughter is worried about job stability, and has begun to slide into "the red" with her financial situation. She can't help me at the expense of her own debts and bills. My ex wife simply cannot and will not persist in helping to alleviate these debts. All I want is to survive, at this point, and in any way possible, to keep my home. It is all I have. If my mortgage payment exceeds the totality of my actual income every month, is there any way to adjust this without losing my home? If I were even physically able to get work, all of my medical insurance would be cut off, and I can't survive without medical insurance. Any help would be very, very greatly appreciated. Voting Question: Did Obama have servants or slaves while living in Indonesia?

In his book, "Dreams from my Father", Obama talks about the many servants his household had. He classified them as paid servants. My question is that in an impoverished nation, such as Indonesia was at that time, plus the fact that the slave trade still exists in Indonesia to this very day. How distinct is the line is there between servant and slavery? Especially, when Obama referred to these people merely as "the man who carried our luggage", "the man who grazed the goats, "the man who killed the chicken", "the guy that liked to dress in women's clothing that cooked and served delicious dinners". In a third world country, if not slavery, is it not at least very insulting to refer to your servants as "that one"? Obama stated the following in reference to watching "the man that carried our luggage" slaughter a chicken: "Laying alone beneath a mosquito net canopy, I listened to the crickets chirp under the moonlight and remembered the last twitch of life that I had witnessed a few hours before. Well it started in spring... a dance. i danced with his friend he dance with mine. mine didn't have a cell at that time, his friend didn't have a cell.so we started talking ALL THE TIME. i mean constantly! i was trying to get him to know my friend better and he was giving me info about his friend. i was so shy. so innocent. jus a 15 year old girl with not alot of experiance with guys but alot with fixing friends relashionships not braging jus tellin ya that im good with giving advise with that kinda stuff, back to what i was saying) so i was texting then he wanted to talk so slowly but surly i talked... normally i would let him but i started too....so then time went on again. and i called up my friend cuz during whent i was talking to that guy she was telling me of how much she hates him this and that and she only met him once and only talked to him once! so then i called her on my home phone and him on my cell listening so then i said why dont you like (his name)? she started rambling on like no other! i was just like dammmnnn! I have Verizon and I always loved it. I have a great phone and our service is quite reliable, Even the customer service is great! However, about a year ago I allowed my dad to get on the plan, as a family share thing. He has really bad credit and would require a large deposit. So I said yeah and he has made all the payments on time, but each month its so expensive. And I think that with all those local plans (depending on where you live, Metro PCS, Cricket, Revol) I think why not just terminate my verizon account and get that. My dad could too in Cleveland (Im in Nashville fresh from Detroit). It would be more expensive at first to cancel the lines and then buy a phone, but I could really start saving soon. What do you think? We tried changing the plan a million times but it still comes out a lot. So we have tried doing what we can with our contract. more

My boyfriend and I are planning on getting Fire belly newts. From what I read they like meal worms and crickets. To avoid regular visits to the pet store I was hoping to set up something for a number of feeder insects to live in. i have a full grown 5lined skink and a baby 5 lined skink along with an anole living together, they dont fight, the anole stays near plant and both skinks stay under bark. i dont know what to do with them. i have them in a clear plastic cage about 1 1/2 feet to 2 feet long and about 1 foot wide. i have a real monkey grass in corner (hanging place for anole), a curved bark (hanging area for the skinks, they hang under it), and then have a stick going from corner of cage to other end, soil as ground except for under the curved bark which is mosses.. they wont eat, the cricket was eaten but the worms and the snails werent, nor the ant or spider.. only the baby skink will drink water out of the cleaned milk cap, the anole or the skink wont drink, not that i saw, and i have had them for 2 days and they are still full of energy running around.. suggestions??i keep the cage in my room window seal and when i get home i put them on back porch in sun i found and caught them myself.. i live in Georgia... more

Resolved Question: Why does the Indian Cricket team lacks the "Killer Instinct" in playing any match? They just crumble !

I have seen the Indian cricket team play well, only if the first two or three players play well. They crumble under pressure and put themselves to shame. The coach, or the captian are not responsible enough to pick players like they pick efficient /competent people in the corporates. It is time to rethink the selection process and people like Sharad Pawar, or ministers, politicians should NEVER meddle in the selection in any manner- as India's reputation would sink lower. Performance in any match should be in line with the Managers performing in corporates - and should be fired if they do not perform- irrespective of the fact that were once a captain , or a great player. We don not want to learn "History" but we need "Real Time" live solution to the game. Even if players like Tendulkar or Ganguly or Kumple fail to perform ONE MATCH- make them sit out - give chance to the budding players/players in form - you would find the team performing well. Practice"NO Nonsense" more
