Resolved Question: What is the best base layer?
I play rugby and am looking for a long sleeved base layer to keep me warm and I would like to know which is best. I had been looking at the canterbury cold shirt or under armour coldgear mock, which is the more expensive one. Does anyone know if it is any better or if you,re just paying for the brand? Any advice at all would be appreciated even if it's neither of these moreResolved Question: What is the best type of baselayer?

moreResolved Question: Do you think that Canterbury should be where the New Zealand rugby academy should be based?
Based on the facts that this province has produced understandiliby the best preformed players over the previous years then i feel that by using our formula that we have down here should be good cause to have the academy based in Canterbury. Now this is just a question not something to take personally. moreResolved Question: For an Australian citizen to be recruited by the All Blacks, can they do it this way?
Play good rugby for the district/provincial Oz club, that I get a contract from Canterbury, or Wellington or any New Zealand provincial team (lol) and work my way up until I get spotted by the All Blacks, or Junior All Blacks (and move up)??? Are there any other ways to do it apart from what I mentioned? I'm a Sri Lankan pre-teen migrating there, not an Australian born Kiwi supporter through and through! (FYI to prevent any confusion) I'm moving to Oz, not to NZ. To Risteard: Can you live in NZL for 3 years without having parents/grandparents or being born in NZL to be an All Black? I mean, like Jonah Lomu, and Tana Umaga. They lived in NZL for more than 3 years, but didn't have relatives or roots in NZL. So will I be able to play rugby, hopefully in NZL, for more than 3 years at provincial level and then be chosen by the ABs? moreResolved Question: How can a player leave the country without fulfilling his contractual obligations to his club?
In Australia right now, there's a general feeling of anger, shock and disappointment in Rugby League player Sonny Bill Williams leaving the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs and joining a Rugby Union team in France. Just when he told so many young players about the importance of sticking with their team and working with them to overcome obstacles. When my 11-year old son heard about it, he just said, 'Oh the bastard!'. Rightfully so, he was one of his biggest fans for years and even got his jersey signed by this player. It shouldn't be all about money. Maybe in his mind, money was an essential factor, but loyalty to his team mates and fans should have been considered also in his decision. He didn't have much of my respect already, I thought he was over-rated, but he's lost the little regard I had. If he's brought back to Australia to face the legal implications of his actions, he won't have many people to greet him at the airport, only security guards to escort him to court. Thanks for the interesting comments, guys. I'd like to hear some more. Keep them coming! moreResolved Question: Where can I buy a Canterbury Rugby Top in Adelaide or Online?

Starting 13 1.Karmichael Hunt(AUS) - Brisbane Broncos 2.Matt King(AUS) - Warrington 3.Mark Gasnier(AUS) - St George Illawarra 4.Justin Hodges(AUS) - Brisbane Broncos 5.Manu Vatuvei(NZ) - New Zealand Warriors 6.Darren Lockyer(AUS) - Brisbane Broncos 7.Johnathon Thurston(AUS) - North Queensland Cowboys 8.Roy Asotasi(NZ) - South Sydney Rabbitohs 9.Cameron Smith(AUS) - Melbourne Storm 10.Jamie Peacock(GB) - Leeds Rhinos 11.Nathan Hindmarsh(AUS) - Parramatta Eels 12.Gareth Ellis(GB) - Leeds Rhinos 13.Sonny Bill Williams(NZ) - Canterbury Bulldogs Bench 14.Greg Inglis(AUS) - Melbourne Storm 15.Ruben Wiki(NZ) - New Zealand Warriors 16.Willie Mason(AUS) - Sydney Roosters 17.Dallas Johnson(AUS) - Melbourne Storm @ jamz Yeah i agree that the second 13 would be very good too, there just soo many good players going around it was hard too choose. i chose vatuvei soley because of his try scoring ability, plus he can play in both centres and wings, and with representative football, most wingers arent regular wingers themselves, they usually play centres but are put on the wing because they can a good in attack, With Clubs footy, most wingers are only wingers because they cant get a spot being a centre, there are exceptions though, with wingers that excel better at wing and prefer it over centres. Matt King, is one of those centres that gets put on the wing. moreResolved Question: Why are the Junior Rugby League Clubs so political?

I have so far: Auckland, Canterbury, North Harbour, Otago, Southland, Waikato, Hawkes Bay, Manawatu, Taranaki, Wellington, South Canterbury, Tasman, Northland and Counties Manukau. Please help me if I am missing a team here..in dire straits and your help will be greatly appreciated..first one to give the right name gets the points. Thank you. Thank you all for your input so far though. I have til this Friday night to get it.... Cheers moreResolved Question: Why Does EVERYONE think that the Springboks are going to win the Rugby World Cup 2007?
Why? I know they won the Super 14 with an all South African final. I also know they have started the international season unbeaten. But lets put that into perspective. In 1998 the Canterbury Crusaders won the Super 12 against the Auckland Blues. the All Blacks then went on to come last in the Tri nations. So by saying that SA are the favourites just because they won the super 14 is a flawed theory. Remember one of the hottest teams in the end of the Super 14 didnt even make the finals (Waikato) Also lets not forget that the South Africans dont really like travelling to Europe and especially not France. In fact they have lost there over the last 2 seasons. In fact the last time SA were in the Northern Hemisphere they lost to England, Ireland & France. Alot has also been made of the fact the the AB's have lost 3 out of 4 in the republic under Graham Henry. Lets flip that and it shows SA has lost 5 out of 8 to the AB's. SA are good but they arent Number 1 moreResolved Question: Why is there such a big rivalry between the Auckland and Canterbury rugby teams? Any other big NZ rivalries?
