Well, I downloaded a free trial, to see if I liked the program or not. And I DO like it. Only...when I watch the videos, these little green boxes pop up in random places...distorted kind of. So I saved the video to my computer to see if it would be like that when I watched it on Windows Media Player, and it still was distorted like that Is this just the free trial??? I do website/database design for a company here in Las Vegas. I have several hundred web pages that the employees use after logging into the site. When they login, PHP creates a session variable called 'uid,' that I use to identify the user on each page. So, each page begins with a session_start, and I check for $_SESSION['uid'] first, and proceed if that variable passes a few tests. Right now, all of my pages start with: <?php session_start(); echo 'Session uid: '.$_SESSION['uid']; ... ?> Here's my problem: When anyone in the office visits one particular page, $_SESSION['uid'] returns null, and the user is logged out (the entire session is killed). After visiting this page, they can't go anywhere in the site...they're logged out. It only happens on ONE of several hundred pages. And here's the catch: It only happens on ONE computer. Everyone in the office can visit every page, on every computer except one. On this one computer, everyone can visit every page except one. I have a mixture of XP/Vista boxes. The entire office is behind a router and the web server is at another location, so the web server only sees one IP address anyway. I'm really stumped. Why just one computer? The nearest and dearest people to me really got to me today. I feel guilty for feeling upset. I am really easy going now and open minded. However maybe I should feel bad. For starters my friends asked me to babysit their daughter last night after inviting me to go out with them. It worked out because I really didn't want to go anyway, but I thought that was a little odd if they wanted me to go with them so bad earlier this week.. So I took the girl to church, shopping, dinner and a movie. She spent the nite last night. They just came while ago to pick her up. I told them I was fixing dinner and they sounded happy because they had not eaten. I told them it wasn't the greatest but they still wanted it. When they got here they didn't eat a thing. I just told them they were welcome to eat and they didn't respond. I asked the guy if he would look at my satellite because it hadn't been working all week. He looked at the box and the tv and said he couldn't fix it. Later he said something about his friend in a wheelchair that always expected him to do things for him and he stopped going there because he didn't owe him anything. I don't think of him that way at all and I don't ask for much but I wondered if he was telling me that story for a reason. He is buying some land from me and he told me he wanted to buy my rental house which is not for sale. He said he wanted to fix it up and burn it down to get insurance money. He made me feel like an idiot. Then my husband gets on the phone with him and tells him he can have his white German Shepard dog that I bought for him as a present back in May. It is tearing up my house and yard and I just got it to my house before we got married last weekend. (He went back to his Navy base) I paid a lot of money for that dog...like 750 dollars. I feel like he should not just want me to give it away although I probably should. Again I am pissed. Then I was on the phone with my husband and I the guy friend was joking around as usual and saying perverted comments like can we trade women and stuff and my husband got mad and hung up on me. I didn't flirt with him and now he thinks I was flirting. The guy friend is very close to us and always says funny stuff and has never ever really hit on me. He is so in love with my friend. He would never do that. Earlier today my husband told me that I could not use any money in the account because he had spent a lot going back to his base. He bought stupid stuff with it. I can't even pay the tags on my car or any bills. I don't have any money. Then he tells me he is going out to eat with his friends again today and to the mall and then to starbucks. ??????? oooooooooooooo. Then he says when you get you money from (the friend) for your land can we go to Vegas during Christmas. He wants to go there because his new friend in the Military is from there and he will show us around. Then he said he wanted me to buy him a plane ticket to come home with. Our anniversary is dec 18th, but we kinda gave random gifts here and there starting in Oct, but I still want to get him something for the day of our anniversary. Something on the cheaper side since I already spent a bunch of money on other stuff for him he already got. (Personal dvd player, $300 tattoo, DC shoes, and a new wedding band) So we're talking over $1000 already spent, my friends have said he got enough and yeah it's true I know he has but I want something from the heart to give him not something materialistic. I think I still have the movie ticket stubs from our first date and the ticket to go on top of the Eiffel Tower experience in Vegas (where he proposed) So what are some cute crafty ideas to give him? i never got him a ring when we got married he has my dad's wedding band my dad gave me when i was in high school and i've been saving up for it for 2 years and he found a ring he loved and i still had about $500 left over that's where the other stuff came from. we went from both working 2 jobs the 1st 2 years we where married just make ends meet and now he has a great job so this is our first anniversary to really splurge on each other more

I lost my Canon Powershot SD750 the weekend of Nov. 21-23 either in Desert Cab or Caesar's Palace Casino by the slots near the Box Office. It's black and silver with a black leather case attached by the string. Our hotel was nice enough to go through surveillance tapes to figure out the cab # and phone number. I've been calling the cab co and Caesar's, but still no answer. Even a craiglist posting. I won't ask any questions. I just want my pictures back! You can keep the camera! Voting Question: X BOX 360 PAL VS NTSC HELP!!!!!!!?

I will start by explaining that 3 weeks ago i have bought Saints row 2, Rainbow 6 Vegas 2, Smackdown vs Raw 2009 and end war for x box 360 on e bay sealed and new which is mostly all good and well. However my problem is this friends, I live in the UK and my console is pal, and all my new games are NTSC, i have my console settings to pal - 60 which my tv supports and graphically it is all fine.....i didnt know the difference between pal and ntsc before today, (After i bought my games). All the ntsc games i bought (listed above) are american made ntsc as opposed to my English pal x box 360, and all worked fine until today, I've had my games about 3 weeks, i was playing ntsc saints row 2 on my pal 360 when the game froze when loading up a helicopter. So i took the disk out and realised that a third of the disk around the edges had lost its silvery colour a little bit, it was a slightly different shade of silver than the rest of the disk, almost like someone had spilt a cup of silver coffee on the edge of my saints row 2. this encouraged me to research the whole pal and ntsc issue cause i didnt know why the edges of my disk had slightly changed colour, it was then i realised my system was pal and games where ntsc. (All my other 5 ntsc games i got work on pal and all are new sealed games). I am new to the whole pal ntsc debate i just revised it all today, so any clued up input on the below questions is much much appreciated, cause after-all i dont wanna do (my buddy) my pal (parden the pun) x box 360 any harm, so am appealing to you beautiful clued up gaming-tech-people to enlighten my soul to the answer of 1 or to all 6 of the below questions and for the best answers you can give i am forever en-debted to you all !!!!!!!!!!!!! THANKS. QUESTION - Do you all think that the colour of my disk changing/breaking is solely down to me using a NTSC disk in a pal console, or is it just a 1 off dodgy disk? QUESTION - Do you think my other new NTSC games will break in the same way if i use them in my pal x box 360 machine? QUESTION - My TV displays the NTSC Games Fine, but Am i damaging my X box 360 internally in any way at all by using NTSC games in a PAL x box 360 even if the games are dual region and seem to play and run fine 95% of the time?? QUESTION - I am aware that some games are dual region PAL AND NTSC, But even if this does this mean the games themselves can be played on both pal and ntsc machines, does that necceserily mean my PAL machine can actually handle the NTSC games i have been playing on it? QUESTION - Was it right for me to put all 5 ntsc games up for sale on e bay today or should i have kept them anyway for my pal machine. (I thought if the other 5 ntsc games break in the same way ntsc saints row 2 did i won't be able to recuperate any of the money i spent on the games in the first place). QUESTION - If a game says NTSC on the back of the cover but it is stated as dual region on a game compatibility website, and plays fine in my pal 360 is it Dual region or ntsc? Again Apologise for the length of this, but i couldnt have got answers to my questions if i was to ask them 1 at a time, (you wouldnt understand exactly what i was talking about without a proper explanation). Lots of people are really lost on this subject these days from what i can tell, so i feel this thread could help many other people as well as myself.
