Voting Question: What are some Xbox or Xbox 360 games that are worth buying, or at least worth a look?

I'm going to get an Xbox 360 soon, and I'm wondering what games I should consider. Here are some conditions. - There are some games that I already plan to get. These include the Halo games, Fable games, and Star Wars KOTOR games, and one of the Guitar Hero games. - Examples of series from other systems that I like are Final Fantasy, Kingdom Hearts, Legend of Zelda, Guitar Hero, Metroid Prime, Rayman Raving Rabbids, Super Mario, and Sonic the Hedgehog. - I'm not interested in any type of "gang" games. In other words, if it is like Grand Theft Auto, DON'T suggest it. Note that games rated "Mature" are fine, but I just don't have any interest in games like GTA. - I'm not a big fan of games like Resident Evil either. I've played them, but I don't like them too much. If it's a very good game, you can suggest it, but I'm not a big fan of the horror/extreme violence games. - I don't play a lot of sports games, but if I get one, it will be one of the standard games. Chances are it will be Madden, NCAA Football, NCAA Basketball, Major League Baseball, or Tiger Woods PGA Tour. Also, I usually don't get the current year's game, I'm fine with going a year back. It's not that I don't want to pay the price, it's just that the differences aren't big enough year to year to justify the extra cost. - No games that are ALL online. I don't have that capability. Portions can be online, but no games that require an internet connection. I think that's it. If there's something that you can think of, then please suggest it. more

ok so here are the rules... i am trying to make 3 of the best fantasy baseball teams, but there is rules. Team 1 may only be made on decade years (1920, 1930, 1940, 1950... etc up to 2000.) Team 2 may only be made on odd number years (1921, 1953, 1977... etc...) Team 3 may only be made on even number years, excluding decade years (1922, 1938, 2006, 2008... etc...) I may only pick 1 player per year, so only 1 player from 1921 and only 1 player from 1932..... etc... There is a female i sit next to who i thought was my friend, so when i told her i was expecting, of course she spread it around the office quicker than her std she's got. Unfortunately, i had my second miscarriage a few weeks later. In her mind, i made the whole thing up. She proceeded to spread rumors about me, but was nice to my face. I than come home after my appt yesterday, i check my myspace and i have a very long message titled truth serum from a unkown person on a profile created that day and the picture was of a picture she had forwarded me previously pointing out how funny it is. (a picture of a young boy at a baseball game flipping the camera off and its edited to say liar liar pants on fire. Im going to post the message below. Before i do this i should probably add she has made numerous comments to me such as shut your legs, you smell like fish(at work) Your fugly and manly etc etc i told this to my supervisor and she blew it off and appeared to be protecting this employee. I dont want to lose my job because of this. What should i do? Heres the message that was sent during business hours, after lunch, so she was not off the clock: sent at: 2:40 pm Friday Dec 12th 2008 First off Roxy, you are a liar. Everything you ever tell anyone in life is a lie. And at this point…everything that isn’t a lie, people think is because you are so full of shit. Your boyfriend has been sucked into your lies and so have the people around you. You have annoyed and angered so many people that you have no friends. The people that you think are your friends, are his. They invite you to come with and hang out with you because they know he won’t be allowed to go out or hang out unless you come or are there. Then they talk about how much they can’t stand you and how you’ve changed him once your not around. It is incredibly insane how any person can sit on a day to day basis and lie like you do. The following comments basically reflect a pathological liar who has the characteristics of histrionic personality disorder. Some characteristics: 1. Exaggerates things that are ridiculous. 2. One-upping. Whatever you do, this person can do it better. You will never top them in their own mind, because they have a concerted need to be better than everyone else. This also applies to being right. If you try to confront an individual like this, no matter how lovingly and well-intentioned you might be - this will probably not be effective. It's threatening their fantasy of themselves, so they would rather argue with you and bring out the sharp knives than admit that there's anything wrong with them. 3. They "construct" a reality around themselves. They don't value the truth, especially if they don't see it as hurting anyone. Because these people don't value honesty, a lot of times they will not value loyalty. So watch what you tell them. They will not only tell others, but they will embellish to make you look worse. For many, many years it has been legal for men in the US to take off their shirts nearly anywhere out-of-doors, be it in their yard or a park, even a baseball stadium with tens of thousands of witnesses. Yet it appears that men's obsessive fantasies with the sexuality of women's breasts demand those breasts be hidden publicly except when men permit them to be uncovered, such as when men pay them to remove their clothes for entertainment in bars, for marketing products, or pornography. Worse it seems many women have fully accepted these attitudes about their breasts. Perhaps because I have lived in countries where nudity was commonplace at the beach or pool and human bodies considered normal and hence the sight of breasts or even full nudity was not automatically sexual, that I have trouble understanding the attitude on the United States toward the exposure of breasts and nipples when a woman dares sunbathe topless or even sometimes when she breast feeds in public which only recently has gained legal protection and still faces frequent public disapproval - strangly, it seems to me, most often those opposed are other women.. I can understand that some level of discomfort or embarrassment may accompany the sight of women's or men's bare breasts for that matter, if one is not used to it but the fact that some people in a society have personal issues should not be the basis for criminal law. Yes, men and women are different. That difference has been falsely used to deny women property ownership, education, civil rights, jobs, and money for hundreds of years. It's no argument in this case either. Remember when the wearing of bikinis, it was thought, would cause complete social breakdown? They haven’t and I think it is the same ignorant fears which lead to these restrictions of women’s actions. Certainly I understand that the majority of women won't be taking their tops off. But is this a reason to remove women's equal rights in a free and democratic society? Breasts are not automatically sexual and certainly many male chests that are exposed are at least as offensive and probably more harmful to children than would be the sight of woman’s breasts in public. Is this a sexist double standard? What are your thoughts? more
