There is a female i sit next to who i thought was my friend, so when i told her i was expecting, of course she spread it around the office quicker than her std she's got. Unfortunately, i had my second miscarriage a few weeks later. In her mind, i made the whole thing up. She proceeded to spread rumors about me, but was nice to my face. I than come home after my appt yesterday, i check my myspace and i have a very long message titled truth serum from a unkown person on a profile created that day and the picture was of a picture she had forwarded me previously pointing out how funny it is. (a picture of a young boy at a baseball game flipping the camera off and its edited to say liar liar pants on fire. Im going to post the message below. Before i do this i should probably add she has made numerous comments to me such as shut your legs, you smell like fish(at work) Your fugly and manly etc etc i told this to my supervisor and she blew it off and appeared to be protecting this employee. I dont want to lose my job because of this. What should i do? Heres the message that was sent during business hours, after lunch, so she was not off the clock: sent at: 2:40 pm Friday Dec 12th 2008 First off Roxy, you are a liar. Everything you ever tell anyone in life is a lie. And at this point…everything that isn’t a lie, people think is because you are so full of shit. Your boyfriend has been sucked into your lies and so have the people around you. You have annoyed and angered so many people that you have no friends. One-upping. Whatever you do, this person can do it better. You will never top them in their own mind, because they have a concerted need to be better than everyone else. Looking for something not too difficult to play on my playstation 2. Something like Kingdom Hearts, Bards Tale, Final Fantasy, Champions of Norrath type and difficulty. NOT Tomb Raider, Heart of Darkness type game where you need lightning reflexes. Also NOT a game like Hitman or Swat where you must repeat a mission ten times before you manage to complete it. Lastly, must not be a sport's game. No baseball or football or basketball type game. Looking more towards roleplaying. I picked up God of War. Finding it a bit difficult for my taste. Afraid it will get even harder, but not that far into it and already tired of dying. more

Alright, I'm thinking this winter is the time for me to get back into the video game market. Problem is, I'm not sure if I should get an Xbox, a PS3 or a Wii. The following facts might help: - I'm 26. - The last game system I owned was a Super Nintendo, circa 1998. - I had an edition of Madden for my PC in the early part of this decade and played plenty of Triple Play, NBA Live, Tiger Woods and NHL on my computer when I was in or just out of college. - My favorite games of all-time are RBI Baseball and RBI 2 on the good ol' NES. It was to the point where I can still recite some 1989 MLB statistics off the top of my head. - I want to play sports games because I worked a lot this summer and my knowledge of "who's good" and "who's playing where" took a major hit. Getting games with regularly updated rosters for officially licensed games is a plus because I can have some fun and learn about teams at the same time. - I'd really like to get a good baseball sim and get back on the Madden bandwagon (I had Madden for the PC in college but was sorely disappointed with the gap between difficulty levels). I also am thinking a college basketball game would be cool and/or a good golf sim. - I like full-season modes and I really dig games that give a nod to history, particularly historical stadia. - I've missed a couple generations of games, so I'm not looking for games that are really complicated. - I don't care about puzzle or shoot-'em-up games, so you can leave your Final Fantasies at home. - Good, realistic graphics and animations with smooth motions are important to me, as are details like uniform and stadium art. I'm leaning towards the PS3 because I understand it has the best graphics and more of the sim-type games than the Wii. What do y'all think, though? And would you have any game suggestions? more

Resolved Question: Why is Daniel Cabrera in baseball?

I'm not a fan of his, or the Orioles for that matter, but every time I look through the morning box scores, a guy named DCabrera has lost a game, allowing 5-8 runs. Why has he continued to remain in the Oriole rotation (or in MLB)? It's pretty much expected he will lose. I'm guessing he's 0% owned in Fantasy Baseball. I'd take Zito over Cabrera ANY day. more

Voting Question: What players should I NOT draft in my fantasy football league based on pre-season/injuries?

I admit, I really haven't been following any pre-season games or news for football. I'm still too wrapped up in baseball, and probably will be well into October. My question is, can anybody provide me with a list of "big" names or obvious draft picks (preferably players that would be drafted in the first 6 rounds or so) that are either injured or have been projected to not have good seasons based on pre-season showings/other factors? Resolved Question: Who do you think the most overrated/underrated players in fantasy baseball were this year?

Now that the season is nearing an end. Who do you think the biggest fantasy surprises and busts were for hitters and pitchers? My picks: Surprise pitcher - Cliff Lee (18-2, 2.43 ERA, 1.08 WHIP). He wasn't even drafted in most leagues to begin the season. Last year he was 5-8 with a 6.29 ERA, and 1.52 WHIP and was optioned down to the minor leagues. Bust pitcher - Josh Beckett (11-9, 4.34 ERA, and 1.23 WHIP). He hasn't been the worst pitcher, but people drafted him expecting him to be an ace this year after winning 20 games last year and striking out almost 200 batters. Surprise hitter - Carlos Quentin (94 runs, 36 homeruns, 99 RBI's, .290 avg). I doubt anyone drafted him this year, now he's having a top 5 overall season. He only hit .214 last year with 5 homeruns. Bust hitter - Carl Crawford (69 runs, 8 homeruns, 57 RBI's, 25 stolen bases, .273 avg) Every year he gets a lot of hype, and most people drafted him in the 1st round. Shane Victorino is putting up better numbers and he probably wasn't even drafted in most leagues. Those are my picks.. Who are yours? more

Ok i am in first place by 1.5 games first off. I would trade Rich Harden for Dan Uggla and Jason Kubel. Resolved Question: What the heck is going on with Milton Bradley (the baseball player) this season?

This guy has so much potential and talent and he sits out of games for the oddest reasons. Even Sporting News's scouting report said something along the lines of, "Bradley is injured with soreness at the moment and most players would be day to day but we're talking about Milton Bradley here so don't expect him back for a while." That wasn't the exact quote but it was pretty close. Then he gets in odd types of disputes with commentators. He missed games with "undisclosed illnesses". I am starting to think that the guy misses games because he is somewhat mentally ill. Seriously. I have him on my fantsy team and had to trade the guy because of his inconsistency on and off the field. Are you a Rangers fan or do you have him on your fantasy team? I know it is a little early but I need some opinions. I have 7 qualified keepers for fantasy baseball. I can only keep 5. David Wright- is a lock as keeper Brandon Phillips- disappointing season but still fills up stat sheet for a 2b. Carlos Quentin - has had a monstrous season on pace 40 hr Tim Linecum- lock as keeper Cole Hamels- one of the best young pitchers in the game along with Linecum Josh Beckett- elite pitcher, decent numbers Francisco Rodriguez- best closer in the game. I have Volstad who had 2 really good starts and a not horrible but not good start a couple days ago. I could also get Kershaw off the Waivers and some of the experts are high on him from this point forward, and has had 2 good games in his last 2. There are also guys like J. Francis who is on the DL, W. Rodriguez, K. Slowey, and B. Zito who had a really good game the other day. Little early to be asking this but, I was looking in the future. Our trade deadline has passed and I was wondering if I should try and trade for Pujols for next season. As of right now my keepers will be: 1- David Ortiz UT (hasn't played a game at 1B this year) 2- Hanley Ramirez SS 3- Carlos Lee OF 4- B.J. Upton OF (will lose 2b eligibility next year) 5- Chone Figgins or Nate McClouth 6- Tim Lincecum ( have to keep a 2nd year player) 7- Joba Chamberlain ( have to keep a rookie) So, should I trade B.J. Resolved Question: Please help with a needed roster move fantasy BASEBALL experts???

I am in a 12 team, mixed league ESPN league with 10 scoring categories (H, R, HR, RBI, SB, W, SV, K, WHIP, ERA) and each week a head to head matchup with 10 games up for grabs (you can go 0-10, 5-5, 10-0, etc). There are 12 offensive starting positions (C, 1B, 2B, 3B, SS, 1B/3B, 2B/SS, CF, OF, OF, OF, UTIL). I am in need of an OF to complete my roster as I have made some recent moves and I have been trying to make trades to no avail. I need to pick up an OF from free agency and drop an offensive player. I can drop Joe Crede 3B, Mike Jacobs 1B, Mike Aviles 2B/SS as I have stength at 1B, 3B, and 2B (I am not so strong at SS though). I am interested in picking up Jay Bruce OF, Nick Swisher 1B/OF or Luke Scott OF. Who should I drop and who should I pick up? Give me reasoning behind your answer if possible. Please help me out as I need to have a complete roster ASAP, and I'm missing an OF. Thank you very much for your answers... Victor, thanks a lot, I value honest opinions... To give extra info... Resolved Question: Baseball All Star selection idea, here's a thought?

Instead of year after year of discussions about who deserves and who doesn't deserve the all star spots, why doesn't baseball put a fantasy spin on it. The player with the best stats at that position gets in. This will eliminate the "popularity" aspect of fans voting their favorite players in, or teams who play a lot of home games near the all star game stuffing the ballots. As a fantasy player, I wish baseball would do this as the numbers wouldn't lie. As a owner, if my players perform the best, I get rewarded, even if the players I own are not that well known. Just an idea, whatcha think? more

Resolved Question: Top Five CURRENT (Not just 2008) Pitchers in baseball?

This is NOT fantasy roster. In No particular order 1) Roy Halladay: I don't know why in many people's books he's not in top 5. I see reasons like he doesn't get K's and things. Cmon, he probably is the most efficient pitcher in baseball, considering pitches/Inning and the innings he can give. Even tonight, two hitter, 57 pitches through 6 innings. It's not an unusual thing. 2) Johan Santana: Best changeup in baseball, lot of K's. But I don't know if he will be the same in five years considering his style. 3) Jake Peavy: another lower batting average against K pitcher 4) Brenden Webb: K's and innings 5) This is where the trouble comes. I picked John Lackey. 33 Games started each yr since 2002, no DL until this yr There's Roy Oswalt (decline phase maybe), Josh Beckett (not as consistent/efficient as Lackey), Carlos Zambrano (lotta walks), Verlander (More years to come), Haren (will be on soon), Sabathia (very wild at times, but is great), etc. Who would you guys have in your top 5 more

Fantasy baseball is a joke! Yes I went there girlfriend! Its a mockery of a sport as well as a fantasy game. If you are a fan I have respect that you can sit through a game of that rubbish. Voting Question: What is an MMO like Runescape or Neopets?

Now don't just say WoW or Mapplestory without reading everything and THEN deciding that is the best answer. I am a collector; I like collecting things - albeit baseball cards, DVD's, or whatnot. I enjoy MMO's with in-game currency which enable you to buy items in a collecting-esque fashion. I don't want to pay anything monthy, but if that is the best game, then so be it. I also prefer a game that runs in real time. Here's the biggest thing: I'm not really into the RPG thing. Runescape was probably as far as I would go; some people take things like WoW a little too seriously for me, so the the whole RP experience has never interested me. That being said, the whole 'fantasy' game isn't really what I'm in to. One final note: Nothing too childish/juvenile (like Club Penguin) please. I'm not 35 years old, but I'm not 8 either. Resolved Question: Why is the Yahoo Fantasy Baseball User-Interface so poorly designed?

It may be the dumbest user-interface I've ever seen on the web. When you display the team lineup page the center of the display is all empty white-space. How could any user-interface designer layout a display with the center of the page empty? The players names are down the left edge, and the game stats are down the right edge, and the center of the screen, where your eye is focused is completely empty. I've looked at their code and it looks like they've sized the "status" column incorrectly, but for some reason they refuse to fix it. I did a test and simply changed the size of the status column and it looks a lot better, but that only works for my static test page, they need to fix the code that generates their pages. more
