Resolved Question: What are some good books to read?

I'm a teenage girl, but I prefer guy books. I'm not a big fan of romance, but if it's really good, I'll think about it. Same goes with fantasy. I haven't read any Sci-Fi yet, and I wanna get started on that. 1) Please include (if you can): - a little summary. - the genre [if it's sports, put the sport]. - the author. - the title. 2) GENRES I mainly prefer, but almost anything would work, I guess: - Christian fiction/non-fiction. - Biographies/autobiographies [athletes, martyrs, war, stuff like that]. - Action. - Adventure/outdoors. - Gangster fighting/life, etc. - Military/war [WWII, air corps, etc]. - History/historical fiction. - Politics/Government...maybe. - Sea/piracy. - Sports [football, volleyball, basketball, skateboarding, surfing, snowboarding, martial arts, baseball/softball, hockey, motorcross, rugby, running, and maybe boxing/wrestling]. - Classics. - Fiction. - Non-fiction. - graphic novels/manga with these genres work too :] Thanks in advance. Thanks for your answers so far. I didn't include this, but one genre I'm mainly targetting is sports and things about war or the military and historical things. Romance is like on the bottom of the list, so unless it is included with sports or something, I might not like it. Same goes with fantasy. Or Harry Potter, Eragon, etc. None of those please. Main books I'm targetting: A sports/war or military/historical book with a non-feminine female as the lead role.  more

me and 3 other of my friends always do a small league every year in fantasy baseball. this year we were wondering if there is a provider that does classic fantasy baseball. meaning i can have cal ripken and joe dimaggio on the same team. i cant seem to find any providers for this like yahoo, etc. is there a FREE provider for this somewhere or can you recommend a site to me?  more

Resolved Question: Why can't I access Yahoo Mail from my mobile any more?

I've been accessing Yahoo Mail for a couple of years now from my cell phone's mobile browser. Sure it was slow, and I could only read a portion of each message per page, but it worked. For the last several weeks, I haven't even been able to log into Yahoo. I had bookmarked the login page, and I used to be able to just punch in my ID and password, and it would let me in. Now, when I go to that bookmark, it just struggles, and then gives me a "Page Not Found" error. I've gone to the Yahoo Front page, and they no longer have email Classic there, only email Beta, and I'm suspicious that Yahoo has deleted this portal. Anybody know? When I click on the Beta Version of Mail, it brings up the login dialog, but when I enter them, I get a "No Gateway Reply" error on my phone. I'm also not able to access my Fantasy Baseball team roster, but that's minor compared to not being able to access mail while mobile.  more

Resolved Question: Why Can't I View Roster & Player Information in Yahoo! Fantasy Baseball?

For many years, I have been in a Yahoo! fantasy baseball league. This year, on my computer at work, I am unable to view my team's roster, player information, or anything that appears between the header and the footer. I can view it from home, just fine. I even switched to "classic" roster view, but that did not help. I get a message that says the page is "done with errors" For many years, I have been in a Yahoo! fantasy baseball league.
